I had a great time – Staff were helpful, I got there early so I had more than enough resources and access to Joke for questions. I came by myself and didn’t feel awkward at all. Good vibes all around.

I loved Joke’s workshop after a long day at work, I got to think creatively and had lots of fun sewing impactful words that is our modern day art today. It was nice being with people, friends and having a wholesome community that I would so rate and shout out when she has the next one!

I enjoyed the workshop very much. It was a very chilled vibe. Great for relaxing and informative too. Thank you for the tips, encouragement, and help. Though it was my first time trying this, your guidance made it very enjoyable and I felt safe to try something new. I had a lot of fun! Thank you.

120% if I could give a score. It was the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon with friends. Joke is a star – she is inspirational, encouraging and so patient with us. The studio has a peaceful atmosphere and is beautifully decorated with her art. Would recommend to all!

There were so many great aspects to this workshop – learning about textile art and links to empowerment, sustainability and survival; meeting the artist and hearing her journey; applying the techniques we learnt to making our own artwork; and doing that in the company of a lovely group of people.

It was so much fun, great explanation, and easy to do for people who haven’t done it before. Relaxing, inspirational and fun all at the same time. A great chance to meet new people too. Would 100% recommend.

Thank you for running the workshop. Great chill vibes. Your demo at the start and the prompt cards are handy too for beginners. Loved the mindfulness theme. The flowers add to it too!

I liked how tactile and varied the activities were. Creative but with important and empowering messages. The feedback from the children [who took part in the workshop] was amazing!
