Black History Month workshop with The Canal & River Trust

Celebrating all that it means to be Black this Black History Month and beyond!

I included an African fabric element as well as colourful yarn to highlight just how full of joy and love our culture is. To tell the story of a rich and inspiring history of perseverance.

The workshop was also in collaboration with Canal & River Trust who champion the many benefits that our waterways offer and encourage more people to use and enjoy them by offering them free wellbeing activities in the area.

The workshop was held at the Grand Union Community Hub.
